Can you intentionally develop your executive presence?
We particularly enjoyed this HBR conversation with Megan Bock, COO of an insurance technology company, and Laura Sicola, a cognitive linguist and executive coach.
The conversation often starts with the more visible elements of executive presence: gravitas, expertise, communication, and appearance. But presence goes much deeper than how we look or sound. It is shaped by how we see ourselves, what we believe and value, the expertise and experiences we bring, how we regulate ourselves under pressure, and how intentionally we communicate all of that to others.
Executive presence grows when we become more intentional about not only what we bring to the room, but how we use it to influence, contribute, and create impact. What are you contributing now, and what could be possible next?
Listen in for a thoughtful conversation about developing your presence with greater intention and impact.
