Strengths Deployment Inventory (SDI): get ready for it!

How’s your team experience going? How’s your personal motivation?

I recently had a much-needed recharge in mine. Motivation and self-awareness are truly at the heart of great leadership. I’ve seen how self-awareness helps leaders understand their strengths, adjust their communication, and better grasp the impact of their actions.

I also recently joined an Org Development Mastermind, where we had a fascinating discussion on the neuroscience of motivation. When leaders manage emotions, make thoughtful decisions, and build trust, everything changes—the team thrives.

Last month, I became certified in Strengths Deployment Inventory (SDI), a tool I’ve worked with for years but now use more with Begin Development clients. This deeper dive has been a great reminder of a belief I hold close: we all deserve to be on exceptional teams, and building one together is always worth the effort.

SDI is one of our favorite tools!

If you need a great team or individual session, I highly recommend getting a report on your strengths and even how you show up in conflict.

Why SDI?

  • Personalized Insights: SDI helps you understand what drives your behavior and how to leverage your strengths to lead more effectively.

  • Improved Communication: It encourages open dialogue by giving team members a common language to express themselves, especially during difficult conversations.

  • Conflict Management: SDI equips teams to resolve conflicts in a constructive, respectful way, helping maintain harmony and productivity.

The perfect next step to enhance communication, leadership, and team cohesion.
