SUMMER REFLECTIONS: From Madrid to Meaningful Milestones

I have much to reflect on after a full summer in Madrid with 26 Pepperdine University students, working with a new client in Barcelona, and taking our kids to 19 cities, 13 museums, and what they declared the highlight - a Gatoteca (cat cafe).  This fullness did not stop with me, the team was fully booked with our wonderful clients' running their executive, manager, and all team development programs.  Coaching was full speed ahead and growing each month.  And all the new fall kickoffs are prepped and ready to go.

If you know the team, it will be no surprise that nothing skipped a beat.  But it was a big deal in the world of Begin Development, where I’ve personally tried to touch EVERYTHING.  Ha-I know, bad plan for growth…but I just love this work.  All I can say at the end is- what an incredible team!

In the spirit of this newsletter, although we have the pleasure of engaging the services of some of our favorite men, the summer roster was fully powered by females.  My dream of doing meaningful work with the most talented people and building a culture where women thrive is in full swing.  As my summer wraps and we start to get ready for the school year, check in with all the clients I missed, and reach out to new opportunities, all I can say is that my cup is full, and I am grateful.  This is the best work with the best people!

Also, thanks to each of you who take the time to read this, engage and work with us or champion this work—I am grateful for you.

Yours,

Malika Begin
